Legal Operations Manager
Due to the successful growth of this independent SRA authorised legal business, a new, senior level role for a business leader has become available. Reporting to the Claims & Legal Services Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the firm's partners to oversee the strategic, operational and day to day development of the business.Along with an outstanding benefits package, the salary sits at circa £150,000 with a 30% bonus.
To be considered for this role, you will have a background working in legal or insurance services as a Managing Director, Head of Operations, COO or Financial Director and must have experience in leading independently and taking responsibility for decisions made to improve the team and business offering.
Whilst this firm has a central Leeds office, this role requires the successful candidate to be based out of the Manchester office 3 days per week.
The successful candidate will focus on:
Strategic Leadership
Work with the Claims & Legal Services Director in the development of the firm's strategic vision and long-term goals
Take ownership of, implement and drive forward initiatives that support the firm’s strategic vision
Provide leadership and guidance to the Partners and management team in alignment with the firm's values and objectives
Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the highest levels of client-centric service delivery
Implement best practices to enhance operational processes and work flows
Continually push for efficiency & improved effectiveness
Financial Management
Work closely with the finance team, manage the firm's financial performance and budget
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation
Client and Stakeholder Relations
Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Build unparalleled linkup between the firm and the insurer
Enhance the firm's reputation and brand within the insurance and legal community
Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Partners and senior leaders
Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Foster a culture of excellence and customer-centric service
