Legal Assistant – Court of Protection

We are currently recruiting for a full time Legal Assistant to assist the busy Court of Protection team based at our Halifax office.

The successful candidate must demonstrate drive and energy, together with a desire to put the clients and quality of service first. You will be a team player able to work under supervision, yet also capable of taking responsibility and using your initiative, a good communicator and possess excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will display a willingness to succeed and the ability to get the job done.

You will possess the confidence and maturity to be able to deal with both vulnerable and clients with complex needs. A positive ‘can do’ and flexible attitude towards your work is a must, you need to be able to respond to changing demand of the role.

Whilst previous experience is desirable this could be a good starting point for a law graduate with a keen interest in this area of law, who would like to progress their career and professional development.​ Full on the job training will be given.

The successful candidate will enjoy a busy hands-on support role and be subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will be a conscientious, proactive and a thorough team player who takes pride in delivering quality work.
