Employment Solicitor – Head of Department

This well-established South Yorkshire based firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor to head up the department based in their Sheffield office. You will be head of the Employment and HR Services department.

The Solicitor will deal with both Claimant and Respondent work as they have a HR offering that they provide as well as dealing with individual clients. The majority of the work will be contentious, and the Solicitor will manage a team of Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors and support staff.

The Solicitor will pro-actively manage a varied caseload of employment matters and undertake a leading role in the development of the department. The successful Solicitor will also contribute to the wider business objectives in line with the business strategy, vision and values.

As the successful Solicitor you will have at least 7 years PQE, have excellent and comprehensive employment law knowledge and be able to demonstrate your experience of business development. ELA membership would be beneficial.
