Clinical Negligence Lawyer – Grade A

We have an outstanding team of Solicitors/Chartered Legal Executives who are renowned for their expertise in Clinical Negligence.Managing Director, Caroline Moore was recognised by Sheffield Law Society as Partner of the Year in 2022 in Sheffield and in 2023 Medical Solicitors as Clinical Negligence Team of the Year. We handle high-quality Clinical Negligence cases. The standard of our service is reflected in the truly excellent (and heart-warming) on-line client reviews. The firm has grown steadily, and securely, and it is now in its 16th year of practice.
We are now looking for a Grade A Fee Earner with experience of working in a friendly environment on a quality caseload to join our welcoming York team.
We are happy to consider applications from those looking for either full-time or part-time opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Clinical Negligence files.
2. Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems
3. Assisting from time to time with screening of potential claims (we have a very busy enquiries unit, attracting a large volume of generic enquiries via our website. We do not buy in work).
4. Supervising junior members of the team.
5. Some contribution to management or marketing duties.
Personal Specification:
1. Qualified and litigation authorised Lawyer/high-level experience in fee Earning.
2. Confident in litigating matters from start to finish.
3. Excellent client care skills.
4. Hard working and able to work from own initiative (supervision and support is of course also provided).
5. Commercial awareness.
